The Jackson County Office of the Sheriff is not able to provide patches, badges, or any other police memorabilia to the public. Thank you for your understanding.
These are tough times in the State of Michigan. With tough economic times come tough times for law enforcement. Most Sheriffs are being asked to do more with less. The same is true for Jackson County. It is my mission to provide the best public safety system for our citizens the resources will permit. Economic growth and quality of life are not possible in the absence of law and order. I and my employees are dedicated to meeting this challenge.
As Sheriff, I am responsible for coordinating this county’s 911 dispatch system, providing a road patrol for 700 square miles, and staffing a safe and secure jail. I have always made it a priority to hire the best people, train them well, equip them with the equipment they need to do their jobs and maintain a balanced budget. These were the priorities of my predecessors and they remain priorities to this day. There is a rich tradition of sound management in the Office of Sheriff. It is a tradition I intend to uphold.
Welcome to our website. I hope it is helpful to you and informative. I appreciate your feedback so feel free to email us with your thoughts. With the help of the people I intend to serve, my staff and I will be successful in our mission; making Jackson County a safe place to live.
