The Jackson County Dive Team is comprised of certified dive professionals who work in conjunction with the Jackson County Office of the Sheriff Marine Division in the event of a drowning, or in cases of evidence and property recovery.

All team members hold a minimum of Dive Master rating or higher. Additionally they are trained and certified in search and recovery, ice diving, deep diving, underwater crime scene documentation, and first aid.
